Our History

The Beginning

In 2002 Callahan Enterprises was started by James and Janet Callahan as Callahan Construction Company, Inc. providing general contractor services for residential and commercial construction. In 2011, Callahan received a SBA 8a certification as a Native American Small-Disadvantaged Company. Callahan won its first government contract with the General Services Administration (GSA) renovating the Department of Health and Human Services office buildings. In 2012, Callahan began work for the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid installing audio visual equipment and updating conference spaces. In 2014, Connor Callahan joined the company as a Field Technician as did Samantha Callahan in 2017. Also, in 2017, the company name was changed to Callahan Enterprises (CE) and the company moved into the IT staffing realm.

Continued Growth

CE quickly expanded its presence in the Federal market by acquiring 45 additional contracts. Today, CE supports the Department of Defense (DOD), Department of Energy (DOE), the National Science Foundation (NSF), and Joint Base Andrews (JBA). CE has built and continues to build strong relationships with partners who utilize our capabilities and share our common values of teamwork, quality, and integrity.
