Your duties would include but are not limited to:
The Facilities Maintenance Laborer helps maintain the facilities, both inside and outside the building. Cleanliness, appearance, and general safety of the facility are top priority. He or she works with a minimum of supervision to ensure his or her assigned areas are maintained in a sanitary, orderly, and attractive condition by performing various tasks using the necessary equipment and supplies.
Normal daily duties could include items such as:
General Handyman work
Other items as needed
Skills & Qualifications:
The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED and knowledge of basic cleaning supplies and equipment. He or she must have the physical ability to perform all aspects of this job (lifting, standing, bending, etc.), must be reliable and trustworthy, and must pay attention to detail and take pride in his or her work.
High school diploma or GED preferred
Knowledge of commercial cleaning, hard floor care, carpet care, upholstery cleaning, and window washing
Safety and customer service oriented
Able to follow spoken and written instructions
Able to work without direct supervision
Able to bend, kneel, squat, stand, and lift heavy objects as needed
Able to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
